A*mei be having a concert in Singapore next January. However, after careful consideration, Sharon and I had decided to give HER up for a trip to Bangkok. The location was changed to Hongkong some 3 hours ago. Still, I’m as equally excited. For one, I’ve never been to Hong Kong before. And I anticipate that it’s going to be a great trip fill with endless laughter and lame moments. Put Sharon, Xiao Ge, Genki and I together and we are THE fun!

It was a last minute decision to go clubbing @ Zouk last night. Mind you! I’m scheduled to work @ 9am today.

Friends whom I haven’t seen for a very long time. I did saw Cuiling a few weeks ago, if you even count that as a meet-up! It was a bump into each other on the bus kind of moment. Haha…

Cuiling and I managed to get the Phuture’s chop. Halfway through, we switched turf for a bit of R and B! It’s either I’ve lost touch with R and B already or the new songs really sucks! I sneaked back to Zouk for a while, telling the others that I’ve to the Gents. I’m glad that I did! Square Room was playing at that time!  Haha…

And they were there just to accompany me before I go for my ops.

People who know me since Secondary School days ( and of course Poly Years ) will also know that I don’t club ( last time ). Combined both those different phases of my life together, I only went twice. Once is to celebrate Patricia’s birthday @ Zouk and the other was X-mas countdown @ the then China Black.

There were just alot of factors to take into consideration when you club as a not-so-rich student.

1) Cover Charge? That’s at least $20

2) Drinks? They are EXPENSIVE, still what’s clubbing without getting intoxicated with alcohol.

3) Taxi fare, Midnight charge? I mean which person in the right mind will enter a club @ say 10pm and make an exit @ ard 1120pm to avoid the midnight charge?

4) Right Kaki to club with? Trust me, go with the wrong person and you wish that you should had stayed at home.

With all that going on in my mind, I led a boring, 2 different phase on my life. Haha…

During our KTV session yesterday, I checked with Ming Jin to see how he had survived, those clubbing years when he was a student. He was a party animal, though he had toned down over the years, still once in a blue moon, he will unleash that beast in him. He said, ” Wa Lau, why your legg like that? I had planned to ask you go Phuture!”

… How I wish I could go too…

“How did you do it? I mean the drinks are very expensive!” I asked.

With a sudden look of wisdom, he said, “Rule No.1 when clubbing as a student! Never ever buy DRINKS!”

“But how…”

“Exchange the drinks with the drinks coupon!” ( oh i see )

“Was that enough?” I questioned with doubt. Come on, like I say what’s clubbing without THE intoxication? I don’t think you can really hit the dancefloor after JUST 2 free glasses of drinks.

“There’s free flow!” He explained. My eyes almost popped out. Since when there’s free flow for guys? If it’s ladies, I can understand. He then explained that, his gal friends would be entitled to free flow and he would just drink from them.

… It’s either I’m too stupid not to think of that or he was just too cheapo… Lolz…

I didn’t know that the Thunder show be going on (You know? The cabaret show whereby 6 hot hunks strip to their undies? ) that night till Ming Jin called me and accused both Ming Yong and I for being gay. And that since we be paying $28 each to go there, why not we just give him the cash and he shall strip for us instead.

What a sick suggestion! Trust him to even come out with that.

And no, he didn’t join us in the end. He did a 380 and went to Phuture with his friends. I tagged along with Ming Yong and his sister, together with her 2 other friends.

It was supposed to be a celebration for one of the 2 gals, so I thought they are going for something ‘kinky‘. Turned out, none of them knows about THE Thunder show. I was telling myself that if it’s indeed the Thunder show, I shall sit in the corner to enjoy the music and booze… Thankfully, it was just an event. We got in @ 10pm and the whole thing ended by 1030pm.

Before entering, Ming Yong reminded me not to get too high upon seeing those hot hunks stripping. I, in turn, reminded him that I ain’t gay for like the million times. I also told him that he’s on his own this time, as the last time during his birthday, I was mistaken for a gay by the gals. Just because I showed too much care and concern for a drunk buddy. Haha…

It was fun and cheap clubbing in Zirca. $28 cover charge, inclusive of 2 free drinks. The 5 of us shared 2 bottles vodka priced @$248. All in all, I only paid $78. I just treat it that I had just bought a jug of Long Island Iced Tea ($70) in Zouk. Haha… We exchanged those drink coupons for 10 mugs of beer. Even the bar tender was shocked! lolz

Thought to save a bottle for the next trip, but we finished both on the same night lolz

The both of us ‘cupped qiu’ to KO the birthday girl. Kept getting backfired, we ended up finishing each other off. We did eventually managed to ‘KO-ed’ the birthday girl.

During the moment of ‘high-ness’, I asked M.Y why is it that despite being a Christian, he doesn’t has a Christian name? I even told him that even his sister has one. He told me that it’s not necessary for a Christian to have a Christian name, and that I can call him MY, his initials, Ming Yong.

And again, I became the gay who sent MY home again. Lolz… It should had been his sister, but she had to tend to the birthday girl. Somehow, both MY and I have this unspoken pact that if one of us is down, the other one must be sober. Till now, we haven’t come across an occassion whereby both of us KO-ed.

Both MY and I went mambo-ing @ Zouk the following Wednesday. And again, I can’t really remember how I went home. I sms-ed him to ask if he’s safe at home. That lad replied, “Fuck you la, who’s the one who send you home?”

Bro and I had took turns to show face at the funeral… He be attending the ritual, while I’ll be going for the send off.

Days before, had already planned to Mambo with Lycan Lim, but he rescheduled for Zirca this Saturday Night. Then, received SMS from Sharon asking whether what time I’ll be @ Zouk.

… Which explains why I’m there, celebrating our 12 years of friendship, and clubbing with them for the FIRST time ever~

Anyway, before clubbing, I met up with M1 colleagues for a game of basketball. It brought back sweet old memories of the days spent in Modified Spec 2. After a long day of lecture, we would go for basketball in the evening. I wasn’t a good player then, and isn’t a good player still. Haha… The only thingI’m okay at is grabbing the rebounce, coz I’m tall.

The combined effortdrink coupons of Xiao Ge and I. It’s Ladies Night, entry for gals are waived. Naturally, they don’t have the drink coupons. We reached @ around 10pm. Managed to get the Phuture entry, which by the way, costs $25 per dickhead. I was hoping to pop by Phuturefor R and B after mambo-ing in Zouk. However, didn’t get about doingthat. The rest of the night was spent havingfun and getting high in Zouk itself.

Yeah.. I love this shot. It’s my first time wearing a whatsit around my neck. I’m surprised that the turn-out was quite good.

After finishinga jug of Vodka Lime, 2 jug of Long Island Iced Tea and 6 Cowboy shots, both Yingmei and Kartina went to get 2 jug of Malibu Pineapple. I must really thanks Ming Jin who ‘exposed’ me to this drink. It’s fucking nice. And I always loved the mixture by Zouk.

I wasn’t prepared for the below. Both Yingmei and Kartina suddenly disappeared for a period of time. It was then I heard from Sharon that they went to gett another round of Cowboy.

I almost fainted. Cowboy and Sex and the Beach. Kartina came back happily with the tray full of shots. The bar tender had sort of mixed up the order and gave us extras. Wahaha… Tan Dio~

Fuck, this is damn obscene. We were supposed to be clowning around, acting as if we had made a grievousmistake, and had to face the wall to ‘chan hui’. BUT it turned out to be the opposite lolz

And OOH… I received a sms from an unfamiliar no. asking me whether will I be in Mohd Sultan. I smsed back to asked ‘who are you’. It turned out to be Siaw Ling. My apologies for losing your contact, old friend! The last time I actually saw her was in 2007?

Anyway, I told her that she can find me in Zouk, and she really did came. And for the 2nd time in the night, I clubbed with yet another good friend for the first time in the long-est years. Lolz…

The drinks sort of ran out. Xiao Ge and I went and bought 2 more jug of Malibu Pineapple.

Went Mambo last night. MY and MJ had access to Phuture, as they were there early. Nowadays, a Zouk chop can’t get you into Phuture, due to limited space. They were at Win Bar together with a friend of MJ. AND without even telling me what the drink was, MY asked me to down it. I took a gulp and gave it back to him.

… And there goes my Virgin try of Graveyard. For those who told me that Graveyard is a knocker, LIARS. It’s not strong.

After which, we went into Zouk for Mambo. Woohoo~~ I was lucky enough, as the songs happened to be good. We used our drink coupons to swap for a jug of Gin Tonic. MJ ordered Flaming Lamborghini too. The novelty of the drink is that the bartender will lit the shot with fire. And you will have to drink it with a straw. They will, at the same time, pour in a shot of chocolate milk. Sweet and nice. BUT I don’t think I will go for it again. My current favorite is Cosmopolitan.

We danced for a while before heading to Wine Bar agin for more drinks. 2 jug of Long Island Tea we ordered. And my memory stopped at the first jug. I was a goner.

I called them up today for enquiry. Apparently, after the 2nd jug of Long Island Tea, we each drank a cup of Vodka Red Bull each ( Did we? ) and then we went into Phuture and dance ( Oh. ). I was almost thrown out by the bouncer ( My. ) and MY was the one who accompanied me home ( God! )
