Usually, I don’t really like to ask as the feeling of having to trouble someone isn’t very good. Let’s face it! Other people have their own shits to attend to, why add your problems onto their already never ending list.
Besides, it’s not good to owe people’s favor. You will just feel obligated the next time.
Thanks to Ash! Because of her ‘intervention’, my shift had changed, meaning I can attend the Bash, and hour or 2 earlier.
My Manager even called me to ask how come I never approach her to request a shift swop?
Well, that’s me!
Anyway, I got to change that mindset. Especially when my new job requires me to ASK. Opportunities is not going to come knocking on you door if you stay a mute.
