Sharon, Mike, Genki, Ying Mei and Kartina are finally back from the 7 days and 6 nights Taiwan trip. It’s a norm that your good friends will get you souvenirs when they are back from a vacation. However, it’s not a norm when they give you a Gay magazine featuring pictures of full frontal guys in it! Are they seriously out of their mind? I don’t need that to get by!
Still, it’s a good laugh! I didn’t know that it’s so readily available in the bookstore! I mean, doesn’t that only happens in Japan?
Other than that, they gave me 2 Tee-shirts with lame wordings printed on it! And a small bottle of Rice Wine! I think it’s only a shot… hmm let us leave it as a mouthful!
Genki had bought me a Limited Edition Bottle of Vodka. Which is what I really wanted! Neat! In case you don’t know, I’m collecting Vodka Bottles. Currently I’m missing the Mandarin, Blackcurrant and the Citron Bottles.
Went over to Steph’s place for a game of Mahjong on Friday night! And Ashley made Pasta. It was delicious and I didn’t know that gal can cook!
I have this fear of dogs. Something that goes way back to ’When I was young, I listen to the radio’ days. It’s a long story! I shall bored you with that!
And they have 3 dogs! Big Ones! They kind of kept them in the room when I entered as Ashley had told them beforehand about my fear. After I made myself comfortable, Steph sort of said, “Are you ready?” cheerfully and open the plastic gate that was keeping them from running out. I just stood there rooted on the ground, immobilize with fear, while I watched those dogs came running towards my direction. If it’s any consolation, they didn’t bark! Heng arh! If they bark, I might just run!
… Not that I can really run! I’m still a recovering limp -_-
And what you know? I made a breakthrough! Dogs aren’t that scary afterall! And that kind of had me thinking, why the hell was I even afraid of Billy Seow (Maine’s 13 year old dog, who is already blind) when I went over her place to slack?
And for the first time in my life, I played the game of fetch with a dog. Rufus is very cute. He will sit when you ask him to and when you say ‘paw paw’, he will present his paw to you. And there is Casper, who be constantly seeking your attention, and will sulk and wear that kind of look that will makes you go ‘Awww, you poor boy!’ if you ignore him. And Mia, the only female, who look fierce but is in fact, very gentle. Mind you! She’s a husky! And usually you will think FIERCE when someone says Husky!
I look forward to the next visit!
And Maine, I’m no longer scared of Billy! =)
