Days of my Life

There’s going to be a reshuffle. Nat, Jia Yun and I are part of Lisa’s team. Other than the 3 of us, there’s also Ashley and Brianna. However, one of us will have to go to Carmen’s team. Lisa was supposed to give Carmen an answer by today. She passed by my area today with 3 pieces of paper in her hand. She said, ” 3 times, and 3 times, are all different names!”

Apparently, she leave the choice to an old game of fate, the name picked out the most number of times, will get the boot. Haha…

Not that I don’t like Carmen, but I’d gotten myself comfortable under Lisa’s care already. For the past 2 days, I’d been put on project, to help Carmen with some admin stuff. Woohoo~ ‘Kyo Dio’ I was busy doing some calculation when Carmen asked, “Actually, you prefer answering calls or doing ‘project’?’

“If there’s a choice, of course be on project!” I said. I mean, who loved to be fuck by ridiculous sicko anyway?

She told me that she thought I looked kind of bored. I squinted and told her, “Who will be smiling and laughing away when pressing the calculator, doing the calculation? Beside, If I were to really do that, I confirm be a siao one!”

… She laughed her head off.

Choices of food at the cafeteria is getting very boring. Natalie and I happened to be on the same Meal Break slot the other evening. We decided that enough is enough, and since we had just gotten our pay, we ordered Mcdonalds. I go for my favorite Double Cheese Burger and Fudge. Both of us shared a box of 20 piece. WORLD BEST~~

Just as we were happily dipping the nuggets into the curry sauce, Paris popped by and said, ” You all still dare to eat meh? Didn’t you read the news? Maggots everywhere!”

She’s actually refering to the piece of article feaured on the papers a few days ago. Maggots found in Curry Sauce. I immediately dubbed a strand of french fries into the Curry Sauce to dig around. No signs of maggots. Phew~

However, I can’t possibly be surviving on Mcdonald whenever I’m on the afternoon shift. I’ll need to start looking for other alternative~

Oh Fuck! I sucks at my Bottom Box rating this month. It’s kind of depressing. I managed to squeezed into the Top 10 best performer last month and everything started to go downhill for the current. Thanks to those who gave me Poort Rating!

It’s a very ’shit’ kind of feeling. You have already provided your best alternate solution, gave waiver and despite having to be ‘trashed’ at, still have to maintain that smile… AND after all that you had put in, you are still being rated a Poor at the end of the day ( Those bloody ingrates ! )

Feel really bad for my Team Manager. She’s the best and at the same time, the funniest! She’ll have to answer to OM for my poor performance this month, when it’s not even her fault. I’m really very sorry, Lisa!

Anyway, ‘depressing’ moments aside. Those Medic Pals of mine are going to have their exams soon. Saw Desmond online the other day. I’d initated a meet up, because I know that if I didn’t do it, no one will bother. Still, someone has to do something! He, at the same time, had asked me to check with Frank, to pre-book him first, in case he ‘disappear into the thin air’ again.

Good news! Jordan be coming back in mid-November. Finally! Didn’t get to meet up with him the other time he was back. Hopefully, the meet up this time, would be successful. Still don’t think that Bong and Cheng Lim be joing us, coz they are currently in oversea, for studies.

Wan Dok Sek again yesterday. Since Ivan is ‘paying his due’, in Tekong, he wasn’t there last night. Only Ying Qi, my bro, Brenda, Gim Li and I turned up. I was surprised to see one of my bro’s good friend, Ric, there too. Had been a long time since I last saw him. He made a confession, telling me that one of his wish is to turn me over to the dark side. In other words, hoping to turn me into a regular at the Lorongs of Geylang.

Turned out that he used to be in Dragonboat during Poly-years, but called it quits after 2 years. Apparently, despite him being straight, he’s a gay-magnet. Approached by gays before. 2 stories that really stunned me was 1) He bashed up a faggot once in gym for atempting to grope him, when failed, prey on someone else instead. Police was called to the scene as he nearly killed that faggot. As he put it and I quote, “Once I grabbed him, he asked me not to hit him ( with fingers pointing ) and I keep punching his groin!”

… My jaw dropped and it got even wider when he told me that the faggot didn’t plead him to stop BUT say it’s very shuang. I can so see why he nearly killed that faggot.

2) He’s a gym regular. Once, he went into the sauna after working out. But left soon after. Apparently the guy ( gay ) sitting opposite him is doing a Sharon Stone from Basic Instinct ( You know? The scene where she famously uncrossed and crossed her legs to reveal that she’s not wearing anything underneath ), just that it’s a modified version. He opened his leg wide to reveal his *ahem* and started rubbing the side of his upper thigh. Ric throw a towel over his head and walked out in disgust. What the fuck!

After dinner, we parted ways. Brenda, Gim Li, Ying Qi and I went to Tiong Bahru for a coffee. We’d decided to avoid the possible human congestion in town, due to F1. Coffee Bean is packed, so we went Coffee Club. There’s a sudden blackout. Ying Qi had a dispute with the cashier over the 10% service charge. I didn’t know that it could be waived if the service isn’t up to standard. In this case, the blackout.

An ex-camp mate called me up today, initiating a meet up. I was rather surprised because it’s like no news from him for the longest time, and we ain’t that close to begin wth. After that Kelvin incident ( Remember? Prudential? ), I’d become wary of such ‘initiate’.

True enough, not even 5 minutes in to the conversation, I’d already knew that he’s ‘in a business’ now, THOSE multi-level kind. Great! Just what I really need! I told him that it’s better not for us to even meet up at all, to avoid the akward rejection. He’s rather persistent in coming to meet me, so that he can pass me some brochure and get me to fill up a survey form, to let him know ‘How I can do better’.

… I was like, please! What good is going to come out of that anyway?

After hanging up with him, I immediately give Shirmaine a ring to get it off my chest. I told her, ” I find it totally unacceptable that friends who didn’t call you for a long time, and when they did eventually call you ( Somehow, they will suddenly realise that you are still alive when they have use for you ), it’s this kind of thing!”

Yes! What nerve! I hate these kind of people. Stepping over you for their own selfish gain. There are 2 kind of such people currently that I’ll avoid ‘at all cost’. First, Friends turned Insurance Agent and 2nd, Friends turned Multi Level.

… Instead of hearing my woes, THAT woman decided to put our friendship into anotehr one of those survival test by asking, “Seriously, If I started selling Insurance, will you buy from me!”

‘Heartless’ friends aside! Next Saturday, I’ll be going to A*mei’s concert. Time really flies! In another 2~3 months, it’ll be X-mas. After that, it’s Happy New Year, then my Thailand Trip. I guess, before I really realise, it’ll be my Happy 25th! Gosh~

Speaking of my Thailand Trip! I’m already 1/3 into my trip. What do I mean , you ask?

3) Getting there and enjoying

First task WAS already done. I’d just paid Ying Qi the $ for the tickets earlier on over dinner tonight. He’s still sourcing online for a good room with a cheap rate.

Hopefully there won’t be a riot or something next Jan, else, I can really cry~

Chew Li’s eldest sister is getting married soon. And her dinner be held on the 9th of November. AND I’m invited. Woah~ Just last year, I’d attended another good friend, Shirmaine’s big sister’s, Shirlene’s wedding. Anymore next year? haha~~

I’d asked Chew Li earlier on, whether would I be on the same table with a group of strangers! Blessed be! I won’t be. Instead, I’ll be sitting together with her and Weilong.

I really dread afternoon shift. Not only that’s it’s so ultra no life, it’s also very unhealthy at the same time. Your sleeping and meal cycle will change drastically, which will ultimately lead to fat and pimple outbreak. They better be giving me a fat bonus this year, else…

OMG! Lisa suddenly dropped by my usual area and told me, ” I heard from Natalie that you like gals with big breast!” Natalie who’s sitting beside me is already in convulsion. I managed her a glare and turn back to Lisa, “NO! Since when?”

… However, for a laugh, I told her that, I don’t particularly go for gals with big breast but of course, they are a bonus.

That’s when we started sharing. Guys hearing from Gals point of view and the vice versa. I get a shock to hear that they have this idea that Tall guys love midget. I told them that it’s something I can’t really accept. I not that tall, but still I’m tall. To have to crane my neck for a kiss for the next 20 years is going to be a ‘hardship’. Lisa glady told me that the gal can sit on my lap -_-”

And she also thought that Guys love Gals with big bums too. I asked her whatever that gave her the idea? She said, “It’s because I don’t have big ass! And what you don’t have, you’ll think that other people be going for it!”

… I almost fell off my seat from laughing.

Talking to Lisa ( my Manager ), is always such an enjoyable thing. She shared tales on how she get by her examination when she’s in Secondary School. She actually filled up the blanks to question which she don’t know, ‘Please refer to textbook page … ‘  She said, “That’s why my teacher don’t like me!” Haha

Singapore has been quiet for quite sometime. Maine’s is finally back from Aussie land. She had gone for a vacation with her boyfriend, Desmond. That lucky gal spent her birthday over there.

I text her a birthday greeting on 17th of September. She had gave specific instruction that even though she won’t be in Singapore, I was to send her a Happy Birthday. She had put our friendship on the line. I told her that if I did text her, she was to reply me. SAME! Friendship on the line.

… She really did. Since I’m in Singapore sending out to her, it’s only 5 cents per SMS, deductible from the free bundle which I get to enjoy. However, she’s in Aussie. An oversea sms cost her 60 cents. She also informed me that she’d bought me a dead Kangaroo.

I told her that it had better not be a road kill. And that I would have prefer a Koala Bear instead.

… I forget that she’s not in New Zealand. ( Koala Bear is in there, don’t they? )

Anyway, the moment she touched down Singapore, she sms-ed me. Will have to meet up with her soon. I bet she’s filled with stories to share ( Actually the main reason is to get the dead Kangaroo! I’m a cheapskate~ ) Muahaha

Went over to Da Jie’s home for an afternoon of Mahjong and Wii. It’s a last minute decision. Ah Li sms-ed me in the morning, telling me that she have this sudden ‘urge’ to play mahjong. So happen that I’m feeling the same way too.

… I should had stayed at home, coz I lost $27.20

Once there, we went to get Subway’s. We shared a foot long. I’m quite put off by the service attitude of the Toa Payoh branch service crew. All I requested was for a few pieces of serviettes and she told me that it’s already in my bag. Like I’m one of those people who will take more than required and put them at home for ‘general use’. You see, I was trying to wipe my hands dry as I’d spilled the cup of Ice Lemon Tea on myself. And since, I’m still standing next to the cashier, I thought the best way is the ask for them directly, rather then inserting my damp hand into the plastic bag and wet the content.

Thanks for the really great service there! If I’m was them, I would had handed some over without question. I’m not going back there again.

Having 2 of my favorite indugle in a single day is too much to handle. The FATS! We had Pastamania for dinner. I would have to work extra hard to shed the extra KG. Yar right! ( I’d just down a bowl of MSG filled noodles as I’m typing this.)

Wii is fun. We are playing this Mario Kart game. It’s one of those games whereby you won’t play when you are alone, but when there’s a crowd. You will find yourself waiting for your turn ( there’s only 2 controller ) impatiently. At one point of them, Genki and my bro was like over each other, fighting over the controller. 20 years ago, those cranky/uptight adults ( you know? Aunt and Uncles who like it quiet? ) would have already took out the golden rod and whipped it onto the flesh, which by the way SO isn’t there’s, to end the senseless fight. But now, it’s just a ‘fun’ thing to watch. Lolz~

Da Jie’s hubby even bought 2 wheel like controller for that game, to add even more fun to it. It’s as if you are really driving.

I’m alarmed by the size of their cat, Greyie. He had transformed into size of that cat in ‘What’s Michael’. I didn’t know that cat can get so big.

Ying Qi had bought a cake for the September Babies, namely, Da Jie, Genki and I. The lot of us sang Happy Birthday song 3 times. Before blowing off the candle together, we made a wish. And fuck, Ah Li knew what I’m wishing. She said it out loud, ” To have a girlfriend next year!”

Is it written all over my face? I need to change. Can’t be so predictable all the time~

Before going to M.J’s event, I sms-ed Sharon to ask when will she be free to meet up for a drink. She replied by either Today or Tomorrow. I go with the latter and I quickly gathered the usual gang. A quick ‘introduction’, this gang consists of the following members. There’s of course, Sharon and I. Xiao Ge ( Sharon’s hubby), Genki, Kartina, Ying Mei, Jeslyn, Esther and Estella.

I’m in charge of informing Ying Mei, Kartina and Genki. And she’s off to round up the rest. I’m surprised that all 3 of ‘em can make it. And the date is set within minutes. If you are reading this Sharon, we must really give a pat on our back. This had got to be the fastest gathering I had managed to come out with from ‘when I know how to organise a gathering’ till now. Woot~

The ‘KILL’? A bottle of Chivas (Sharon’s ) and a bottle of Jim Bean (Mine).

The last time that the group of us actually met up was before I started work in M1 ( Which is like a good few fucking months ago). She was still living in Choa Chu Kang then. Yes! She had since shifted… from Choa Chu Kang… to… Choa Chu Kang. Haha… I ain’t the remotest clue to why she made such a decision too. Lolz~

New addition to her home. A Pool table and her precious sofa. I really like that pool table. It’s not in every one home that we get to see one. There’s even an air con unit in the living room too. Best! Thanks to the spotlight, the whole place will give a ‘pub’ feel in a click of a few buttons. I almost fainted when I learntw that there’s a remote control for her ceiling light.

I went up to her home first to ‘ditch’ my kill. Then Genki, Sharon, Xiao Ge, Jesln, Esther and I proceeded to a nearby food outlet for dinner. Kartina,whom I later found out is at Bukit Panjang ( which is like a stone throw distance away) and Yingmei be late. While Estella, ermmm… Sharon had forgotten to inform her -_-” Muahaha…

After placing the menu on the table, the waitress just stood there, with a pen a wad of paper, waiting to take our orders. She said, ” Hi Xiao Mei ( refering to Sharon, apparently she’s a regular ), what will you be having today?

I almost fell out of my seat when Sharon said, “We are still looking through the menu! Once we had made our decision, we’ll let you know! Mei Nu ( Pretty Woman in Chinese )!”

How I laughed!

Then Xiao Ge and her was deciding on whether they sort have a double yolk ( Shuang Huang ) or a triple yolk ( Shan Huang) for a particular dish. I couldn’t quite get the reference. I think Genki also didn’t quite catch the ball too! He said, ” We are not ordering Mooncakes, are we? Chin Chai lah!”

I almost said, ” Can I have one with Lotus Seed Filling!”

… thankfully, I didn’t. That dish is actually a vegetable. Shuang Huang and Shan Huang actually refers to the types of egg being used. The 3 different kind of eggs are namely, the normal egg, Salted egg ( the one with the orange yolk ) and Century Egg ( That one which smells like pee. Xiao Ge later said an online Urban Legend with me, that the century eggs were soaked in Horses Pee during the peservation process. Whic I don’t believed him!).Anyway, we settled for Triple Yolk.

Xiao Ge then sparked off another ‘laughter bomb’ when he annouced that he love eating ASS. He’s actually helping to himself to a piece of chicken ass, but he just said, “Wo zhui xi huan chi pi gu! ( I love eating ass in Chinese ) And he would be the MAN or rather ass of the night, if he was to said that in Taboo/Happy.

Ying Mei was waiting for us below Sharon’s home. Halfway through the bottle of Chiva and Kartina still not here yet. It was only till towards the near end of that Chivas, that Kartina finally turned up.

… Amd that gal was sleeping on Sharon’s sofa, after like a shot of Jim Bean and 2 cup of mixture. Lolz…

Ying Mei, Sharon, Esther, Xiao Ge and I were the survivors of the night. Sharon’s porcelain bowl became Jeslyn best friends. She’s like hugging it.

*Shrugz* It’s my fault actually. I managed to trick Jes and Genki into drinking shots. How I did it? Easy. I poured 2 shots. One is filled with Jim Bean and the other is filled with Green Tea, then I cheers with them. Wahaha… Okay! I fucking evil~

2 things that’s really worth looking forward to next year…

1) 9th of January, I’ll be going for a short get-away with a couple of cousins to Thailand. Ying Qi managed to get us really cheap air tickets. Now hold your breath, drums rolling… it’s going for a dirt cheap rate of 4 cents per tickets. Don’t even ask me how he managed to get such a great steal. The only thing that I know is that I’ll be paying and of course, going. ( Like Duh ?) I’d planned to get a whole year worth of clothings, no to forget Chinese New Year clothings too. I’m so going to catch the infamous, ‘Thai Girl Show’.

2) In early April (or so), Xiao Ge and Sharon be holding their Wedding Dinner. A few days back, I got a call from Sharon, asking me to be the Emcee on her dinner. I asked her, “I thought you are married?” She told me, “Yar! I know! But this is the Wedding Dinner!”

Thanks for asking gal! I’m very honoured. Hopefully, I’ll be able ‘to live up to your expectation’, and make your dinner a special and memorable one~ I’ll be sharing the stage with Genki. I’ll need to look for something to wear in Thailand~

Number 3 is still a thought. No solid plans yet. I wished to go to Taiwan somewhere in March or April.I missed the Wulong Milk Tea, the Beef Noodles, Ah Kuan Mee Suan and XXX Chicken Cutlet. I can’t believed that it had already been more than a year already.

… Somehow, I missed Army. Haha

And I went to MJ’s event at Double O. Not only was he the organiser, he doubled that up by being the Emcee too. No wonder he had changed is MSN’s nickname to ‘MJ had sold his life to RH’. If you are thinking about that reference, it’s referring to Raffles Hall. I did asked him is it because he’s from Raffles Junior College, that’s why they ‘hall-ed’ him in Raffles Hall. He told me No and it’s by mere coincidence.

He had instructed me to say out his name to the door bitch. In that way, I’ll be able to gain entry @ $15, instead of $18. The event was already ‘half way through’ by the time I stepped in. Not knowing any other person, I stood at on corner to watch the ongoing game. The contestants are serving their forfeits. They will have to pick out a card from Box A, which is a number card ( ranging from 1 to 5 ) and another from Box B, which is the forfeit card.

… A female contestant picked a No. 2, and another card with 3 wavy line drawn onto it. I let out a silent ‘gasp’ when I saw the ‘prize’ handed over to her. 2 strands of Maggi Mee. OMG! Now that’s something only MJ could had come out with.

And the next one picked out a card, ‘ XOXO ‘. Being the Emcee, he said out loud, ‘Do you guys know what this is or not? Can anyone tell me?”

… I almost ran up the stage to say, ” XOXO  Gossip Girls! You know I love you!”

… … Which I’m glad I eventually didn’t. Coz that’s not refering to that.

The games stopped at 9 or 10 pm, I ccan’t remember. Since he’s the only other person wearing a vest, I’d no problem spotting him out from the crowd. I sticked with 2 of his friends from RJC who had came to support him also.

And OH! He had managed to keep a $50 voucher for himself, which is equal to 3 jug of housepour. We started playing finger guessing games. It was only the 4 of us, but later he managed to get another guy and 3 gals to join in the fun. We ordered 3 more jug of housepour as we were running out.

Staff Ker ( His Senior Medic ) came at around 11 and ordered a bottle of Johnnie Walker.

… The fun ended with me walking up the next morning in my bed. I must really cut down on alcohol already. haha

MJ is organising an event for his Hall in Double O, this Friday. I went down with him yesterday to meet with the Marketing Officer (?) to get the entry tickets. Why am I there when I’m not even supposed to be part of it, you ask? Well, it’s because he’s being dumped by his fellow organiser and Ta-Dah, I’m the replacement. I’m there to aid him to count the tickets.

I was informed about this event last week. I told him since Ming Yong isn’t going, can I don’t go as well? And I was F by him. *Shrugz* What to do? Who ask him is my good friend ( Brotherhood Rate )? I need to at least go there to show my face.

Actually, the initial plan was to meet up at Far East Plaza, to get a vest. HIS vest. I asked him since when has he become so ‘He-yao’. He said, “Ni guan wo!” In short, who am I to ‘mother’ him?

I met up with him at Clarke Quay station. As usual, I was there first. Thankfully, I’d Ivan’s PSP with me to kill time. That lad had reported for National Service in Pulau Tekong today. And he’s kind enough to loan me his PSP. I was in the midst of ‘Tales of Eternia’ when I heard a familiar, “Hey SLUT!”

… 2 choices, a) Ignore and continue with my game or b) Look up and gave him a nod. I go with the latter. I told him, “Must you shout it out? We are in the public!”

Anyway, he had cut his hair short. I got a shock. All along, I though that his 6 months long, long hair meant everything to him. What exactly happens? Another brutal rejection ( Oops! And that only happens to me!)? The biggest shock was when he told me that he had cut it short because of CCA. Touch Rugby. Woah~

As we were walking down Boat Quay, he said, “My friends called me THE Pimp, just because I’ve 2 good looking female friends!”

I frowned and asked him, “Why is it that when you have 2 good looking female friends, you are a PIMP! And when I have 2 good looking female friends, I’m a GAY?”

… That so-called good friend of mine just burst out laughing. Anyway, I also joined in the laughter ( Where’s my backbone? )

And he started going on and on about the last, ‘eventful’ clubbing session we had with his friends and Ming Yong. He told me how he had pulled me away and how it’s the first time he see me doing something that’s not gay. That ONE was a fun cum killer one. We had Graveyard, Flaming Lambour, Gin Tonic, Long Island Ice Tea and Vodka Red Bull -_-”

The glass door to Double O was locked when we reached there. We had to wait in O bar. I mean, since it’s open, why not? Rather then waiting outside in the hot weather…

I’m amazed by the persuasion and bargaining skills of MJ’s. It’s something that I couldn’t do. He managed to get the Marketing Officer to sponsor 5 more T-shirts and 5, $50 Double O voucher as prizes for the games he had planned.

Our jaws are still wide opened when we left. The $50 voucher is all talk about on the trip back to Clarke Quay to take the bus to Far East Plaza ( for HIS vest, remember? )

I’m looking forward to this Friday. Though I scheduled on morning shift the next day, but who cares? Lolz

Going through those old albums in the drawer and I found the SPICE Girls cd. I’m currently hook onto Who Do You Think You Are ( again )

Yesterday, Paris droppd by my area and whispered to me, “Hey! I’d bought you something for your birthday!”

“Oh! Thanks…”

“It’s a naughty comic!” She said.

My mouth formed a big O and my eyes opened wide in shock. “Are you serious?” I asked.

… She gave me a girlish laughter and walked away.

Today, she dropped by my seat again to pass me the gift. As I was on the line with a customer, I could only express my thanks in very basic ‘broken’ sign language. She acknowledged that with a nod and walked away. Still, after I hanged up, I draft out a Thank You email to her.

The so-called naughty comic is actually Vampire Knight, which by the way failed to give me an erection. As I was flipping through the pages, Lily who’s walking past, stopped dead on her track and asked, “Is that Vampire Knight?”

… That came as a shock! ( Isn’t it suppose to be a naughty comic? And gals are reading it? )

The biggest shock is when she told me, proudly, “I’ve the whole series already and there’s the anime for it too! ( Oh! It comes in ‘Hentai’ format too )

Other that that, she also gave me a Toblerone. So touched! A bit of information, Paris is also a customer service officer. Like Lai Kwan, we managed to ‘hit it off’. We even went to Double O once.

Anyway, to be serious, the comic is actually quite interesting. It’s about this girl who’s a ‘Guardian’ at this school. The school is quite special. There’s Day Class ( for humans, mostly unfortunately looking) and Night Class ( for Vampires, almost all look handsome and chio ! Cliche). And how the only other Guardian ( There’s 2, including the gal ) is also a Vampire himself -_-”

Happy Birthday, Sherlyn Koh!

Went down to Holland Village yesterday to meet up with the gals (Pat, Cuiling, Lyn and Shaoya). They were at Hog’s Breath Cafe having dinner.

Sherlyn asked me whether she look thinner. That woman had actually been hitting the gym 2 times a week… WITH another guy. I asked her which is the real reason, a) To run on the thread mill ( That’s what gals do when they go to the gym, isn’t it? Run on the thread mill! However if you are a Madonna wannabe, that’s a different story ), or b) EYE for that guy. Lolz…

She actually told me proudly that she had slimmed down by 1.5 kg. I just couldn’t resist the urge to pour the cold water on her, I said, “Just how old is your weighing machine? Is it even accurate?” She squinted at me. Happy Dayz~

We had problems communicating with the waiter/waitress. When footing the bill, Cuiling enquired about a ‘3 dine, 1 free’ promotion, as according to Pat, featured on the website. The waitress looked like she had heard an alien language, her colleague, (waiter), stepped out from behind the bar and approached us with a smile on his face…that’s soon replaced with a look of shock.

… We looked at each other. Cuiling probe further by asking whether is there any special birthday treat. That seems to ring a bell, THEIR bell. He went off  saying something about a birthday treat and that ‘ It’s on it’s way!’

… That sort of gotten us to look at one another ( again ). Are we refering to the same ‘Birthday Treat’?

… After a million years, the birthday treat finally landed on the table.

The inital plan was to go 2am Dessert Bar. However, it was packed with people. We passed by Wala Wala. No luck! We finally settled for Tango.

Woah~ It’d been a long time since I last took a picture with Shaoya. I was doing my calculation and found out that Sherlyn and I had knew each other for 12 years. With Shaoya, it’s even longer. Considering the fact that I’d knew her since Primary 5, it’s like 14 years now! Omfg! Time flies ( like a bitch ).

Well, Lyn had decided to go ‘Solo’ again. The slice of cake is from Raymond, another Secondary School friend. If you take a close look, there are actually writings on the coasters that Lyn’s holding onto. Each of us had wrote a greeting/note on the coaster, as a ‘birthday card’ to Lyn. Shaoya and I shared a coaster, each writing on one side.

Zhi Hao called last night, to wish me a Happy Belated Birthday. He said that on the actual day, he knows that it’s someone’s birthday but he just can’t recall. And Tah-Dah~ he remembered that it was actually’s mine, last evening ( I guess we ain’t that close afterall. Haha ) Still thanks for remembering.

Had a long chat. The lad is a very happily attached, for like 9 months already. AND I’m not even 1 second into a relationship. As I guessed, Mon~Fri = work and the weekends are spent with his girlfriend, which explains why I only hear from him once in a blue moon.

I bumped into another friend of ours, Regina, on the train the other day. I told her that Friends who dumped their friends for their ‘happily-attached-to’ are considered as A grade friends. She told me NO ant that they should be rated as A+ grade friends. Wahaha… Trust Regina to think of that.

Anyway, we also talked about an overseas trip to Vietnam, which he claims is not only cheap but fun at the same time. Hopefully, I’ll be able to go ‘check-it-out’.

Went to a restaurant in Turf City for Dinner last night. If I still remember correctly, it should be a 8-course meal. All agreed that the food there is not only expensive, but sucks at the same time. I doubt we’ll be going back there again.

The shark fin served is more like a thick mixed vegetable soup. Gone are the glory days where restaurant served decent Shark Fin.

The last time that I went to Turf City was like 5 years ago. A classmate from Secondary School, Peiwen, used to work in the Giant there, so happen that they were having their annual stock take and they need people. A group of us took the one ‘night till next morning’ job offer ( $50 which is like a lot to us back in those days ). So memorable~ Walking around Giant last night was a trip back to time.

However, I don’t know is it because I was there in the evening. The whole place seems like a ghost town. Kinda Depressing to even walk in it -_-”

… Anyway, Happy Birthday to me! Nothing big this year. Went to Halo Bar ( again ) with Jonah, Chen Jia and Shirmaine. I think we can start calling ourselves the ‘Fab 4′. Haha…

Fuck! Both Jonah and Chen Jia is so good with the Table Soccer! I’m being trashed lor!  Worse! During one of the match with Chen Jia, the score was 5-0. -_-” How pathetic!

Not even into the 2nd Tower and Shirmaine is already half-gone! What a let down! BUT she managed to hang in there till the 3rd one. We would had gone for the 4th if they ain’t closing. The standard way of telling customer that it’s time to fuck off? Switch on all the light! ( I saw the SIGN, you open up my eyes I saw the SIGN )

One of Ronald Cheng’s classic ‘Jue Kou Bu Ti Ai Ni’ was sung by 2 other person earlier on. I was suggesting to Chen Jia that we should sing it too coz I’m dead sure that voice-wise, Chen Jia could easily trash them ‘Kau Kau’, but well, he said no, for fear that the other table will come over and ‘lup’ us.

Woah! Natalie surprised me with a pre-birthday gift a few days ago. The first thing I saw inside the plastic bag is a receipt and *gasp*! It’s a receipt for an Ipod Shuffle, shared by Jia Yun and Lai Kwan. Thanks You, you 3! I’m really touched as we are friends for like no more than 6 months only.

Jia Yun and Natalie are from the same batch as me. We went through training together and till now, despite out in the ocean already (as in the call center), we still try our best to sit together whenever possible.
