I was sending Fireballs, attacking those people who had bugged me, via Warbook when I heard the rustling of keys and the opening of door. It was my mum. She walked into my room, holding the newspaper on her right hand and said, “He’s dead!”
Seeing that dreadful expression of hers, I got a shock. I was thinking Paternal Big Uncle failed to hang in there and got his passport chop already? I quickly ask her, “Who?”
“MC King loh!”
“CHEY!” I exclaimed. For a moment, I thought it’s a relative who had passed on. I told her not to be ’so into it’ next time.
I’m so happy. I only send out 3 resume, 2 to Starhub and 1 to M1. And out of the 3, 2 replied me and called me for an interview. Though it had failed me for the Big Sweep Draw, but the Secret really works. Haha…
Starhub had already offered me a contract, however I’m more keen in going to M1. Mainly because it’s a Full-time permanent wheras Starhub is a 9 months contract. I don’t think it’s wise to wait for a reply from M1 in case they play me out and I ended up losing the Starhub offer.
Initially, getting a Degree isn’t part of my plan. However, after taking a moment, I decided that it’s not a bad idea afterall. Nowadays, a Diploma is as good as an ‘O’ level certification. Almost everyone have a Diploma. Not only that, to pass on as a Degree holder doesn’t seems like a bad idea afterall.
